- People should be connected to theoretical computer science, broadly defined.
- Only add jobs that you are absolutely sure have been offered and accepted. This is not the place for speculation and rumors.
- You are welcome to add yourself, or people your department has hired.

Deleteit's not so much trendiness, but rather due to semester-long research fellow positions at the simons institute (which are super comfy).

ReplyDeleteIt looks like a very strong market. Has there been upward salary pressure to match the demand? I know several private schools have been offering fresh PhDs 125-130k this cycle, and publics as high as 115-120k. Other anecdotal numbers?

ReplyDeleteWe're blocking speculative questions like "Why is person A moving to place B" or "Why did place B hire a person like A". We've had some ugly comments in the past related to these questions.
